A new report by cybersecurity firm McAfee found that 85% of indian children have been cyberbullied, the highest globally. According to the report, 'Cyberbullying in plain Sight' ,Indian childern reported being cyberbullied, as well as having cyberbullied someone else at rates well over twice the international average.
45% of Indian childern said they hide their cyberbullying experiences from parents.
45% Said they cyberbullied a stranger, compared to 17% worldwide
48% Said they cyberbullied someone they know
1.5 times cyberbullying reported by INdian children compared to childern in other countries
48% Parent said that they've spoken to their children about cyberbulling.
3 out 5 ( 58%) children sais they have deleted a social media account to avoid cyberbullying.
66% Indian children said they are more likely to be cyberbullied by someone they know.
